The Operations Specialist is responsible for emptying cash boxes, and conducting field inspections on a regular basis. This role will also complete investigations into passenger complaints and accidents and complete the needed accident reports. The Operations Specialist will also provide information to the public regarding transit operations and must understand and possess the ability to operate all Flex Ride routes and functions and serve as a backup driver as needed.Starting pay range for the role is $23.89-$29.79/ hour (additional $1.50 on top of your current driver rate)We have 2 part time opportunities available:Saturday & Sunday 4:00am-2:00pmSaturday & Sunday 12:30pm-11:00pmQualifications for Operations Specialist:Minimum of 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma/GEDPossess a Driver’s License that has been valid for at least the past two (2) yearsDriving experience with public transportation strongly preferredPrevious supervisory experience strongly preferredStrong interpersonal skillsKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices and proceduresMust pass and maintain DOT physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks.Meets all of the hiring criteria as outlined by Via and RTDOther duties as assignedkeywords: Transit, field operations specialist, operations specialist, transportation, supervisor, transportation supervisor, shuttle services specialist, flex-rideCompetitive Benefits:Paid Training!
