A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical care at a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital. This contract position offers a chance to work Monday through Friday during day shifts in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting patient recovery and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.
Location: Nampa, ID
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with precision and attention to detail
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Consult with nursing staff and physicians regarding medication management and patient care
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to optimize therapeutic outcomes
- Utilize Cerner electronic health records for documentation and order processing
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Idaho pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure promptly
- Experience working in a hospital setting, ideally rehabilitation or acute care
- Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
This contract role starts as soon as possible and extends for at least 13 weeks, offering a stable assignment with predictable hours.
