Customer Service Representative

Role Overview Hybrid role. This position is responsible for processing and following up on US and Canada customer orders. The role requires extensive follow-through with customers, sales, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing of customer orders. Monday-Wednesday onsite required. Key Responsibilities Maintain direct responsibility for designated accounts from order receipt through shipment to customer to invoicing. Accurate and timely entry of customer orders. Handle daily service and order activities. Work closely with plant schedulers and transportation group to secure on‑time deliveries. Play critical role in developing customer relationships and resolving customer issues. Provide backup to team members. Maintain master file information. Invoice orders and complete month‑end closing transactions. Entry of credits, debits, and sample order requests. Recording and reporting on ongoing issues. Qualifications College degree preferred. Previous customer/sales service experience recommended. Skills & Abilities Familiarity with SAP, JDE, or similar ERP environment desirable. Detail oriented with high level of accuracy and organization. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Able to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with multiple interruptions. Ability to work independently and on a team. Basic level of Microsoft 365 suite and internet skills.
