This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Planner based in United States.

As Senior Planner, you will own the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process end to end, connecting demand, supply, purchasing, and inventory planning. You will build trusted forecasts by SKU and channel, incorporating promotions, subscription trends, and new product launches. The role requires translating demand into actionable supply plans across a multi-facility co-manufacturing network while anticipating capacity constraints and supply risks. You will balance service levels, inventory availability, and working capital to support reliable customer fulfillment and sustainable growth. Working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Fulfillment, and Customer Care, you will bring data-driven insight to critical business decisions. You will also establish reporting and planning routines that give leadership a clear view of forecast accuracy, inventory health, and emerging risks. This is a highly analytical and autonomous opportunity for an experienced planner who enjoys building scalable processes in a fast-growing environment.

Accountabilities:

• Own the monthly S&OP cycle from demand forecasting through supply planning, reconciliation, and business alignment around a single trusted forecast.
• Build and maintain demand forecasts by SKU and channel, incorporating promotional activity, subscription trends, and new product launches.
• Translate demand forecasts into supply and purchasing plans across the co-manufacturing network, identifying capacity constraints and lead-time risks before they impact availability.
• Establish and manage inventory targets and turns, balancing customer service levels with working capital requirements.
• Develop reporting and planning tools that provide clear visibility into forecast accuracy, inventory health, supply risk, and overall planning performance.
• Partner with Purchasing and Logistics to translate supply plans into purchase orders and inbound schedules that support reliable, on-time delivery.
• Identify potential out-of-stock risks early and coordinate with Marketing, Fulfillment, and Customer Care to develop mitigation plans.
• Establish consistent planning processes, metrics, and reporting routines as the S&OP function continues to mature.
• Provide cross-functional stakeholders and leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations to support supply, inventory, and demand decisions.
• Build visibility into current demand and supply data, forecast history, SKU-level planning, and open stockout risks during the initial onboarding period.
• Establish a consistent monthly S&OP cadence and documented planning process within the first 90 days.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP, ideally within food, consumer packaged goods, or a direct-to-consumer subscription environment.
• Proven experience building or managing an S&OP process, rather than simply participating in an established process.
• Strong Excel and financial or operational modeling skills, with the ability to independently build and maintain demand forecasts.
• Experience planning across multiple facilities or a co-manufacturing network, including managing capacity constraints, lead times, and supply risks.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning, service levels, working capital, forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turns.
• Highly analytical and comfortable using data to identify trends, evaluate trade-offs, and support operational decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the confidence to communicate data-driven recommendations when business priorities compete.
• Proven ability to identify risks early, communicate them clearly, and coordinate mitigation before they affect customers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring planning cycles, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-growing environment where processes are still being established and improved.
• Demonstrated ability to establish measurable goals and deliver against performance plans and defined 30/60/90-day objectives.
