Job Opportunity at Sutter HealthCompetently perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Work independently with sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gain confidence and cooperation from patients and healthcare providers through competent assessment and communication. Adhere to all regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May perform specific procedures and orient other staff to the department.Education: Graduation from an JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist Program. Certification: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist and BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. Required: RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required.Skills and Knowledge: General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment. Experience with traumas and hospital emergencies. Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
