Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and diagnostic coding (ICD-10) to inform treatment plans
• Develop and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics patients
• Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance; manage medication administration and CPT coding for billing purposes

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license with current certification; experience with telehealth systems preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems; experience with ICD-10 coding required
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology; capable of performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations effectively
• Ability to perform excisional biopsy, suturing, phlebotomy
• Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on acute care management; experience with ventilator management and airway procedures preferred
• Knowledge of CPT coding for procedures; familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA standards; commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
