The duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verifications and authorizations, daily use of Windows computer software (Bonafide), an iPad, multi-tasking general office duties, and assisting other Customer Service Representatives as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

As a Customer Service Representative at Cook Medical Supply, you will professionally interact with patients and/or clients on a close and personal level as well as:

• Assist walk in patients or clients, conduct foot assessments, explain and show them how to use equipment in a timely manner.
• Assess all in-bound calls to accurately and efficiently address the call by maintaining a strong customer focus.
• Communicate with team-members in a warm, helpful and professional manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.
• Be patient and compassionate while working as a team player and using all your available resources to provide the best outcome.
• Be efficient in navigating multiple systems.
• Participate in ongoing training and self-development.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled and adhere to all company time and attendance policies.
• Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements:

Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every interaction. Other qualifications for our Customer Service Representative role, whether English-speaking or Bilingual: (English/Spanish), will include:

• Associate's degree (minimum) or equivalent experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 Year Medical office experience (Required)
• 1 Year Customer service (Required)
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with extreme attention to detail and ownership
• Advanced computer proficiency (including knowledge of windows-based applications)
• Excellent written and verbal communications and typing skills (30 WPM) required
• Ability to work 40 hours/wk (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm). and attend all training sessions
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and abilities to have critical conversations with individuals while maintaining a professional environment
