About This Role The Registered Nurse Float - Rapid Response Team position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and are skilled in coordinating care among interdisciplinary teams. This part-time role focuses on delivering effective direct care to a variety of complex patients during night shifts. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years preferred. Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
