Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation | North Carolina
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Overview
Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing environment. This role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate nursing services while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident health and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor residents’ conditions and report significant changes to the supervising RN or healthcare provider
Perform routine nursing tasks including wound care, specimen collection, and catheter care
Obtain and document vital signs and maintain accurate clinical records
Support implementation of individualized care plans through ongoing communication with the care team
Promote resident comfort, dignity, and safety in all interactions
Assist in educating residents and families regarding care plans and health management
Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and initiate timely intervention when needed
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Strong clinical observation and critical thinking skills
Ability to document accurately and communicate effectively with team members
Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
