Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups through standardized evaluations and observation.

Create tailored treatment plans that address both immediate goals and comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.

Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to establish unified care strategies.

Provide education for patients and families to encourage progress outside clinical visits.

Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout treatment journeys.

Document evaluations and interventions accurately and promptly, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Commit to continuous learning and advancement in the field through educational opportunities and peer collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not certified by ASHA.

State licensure as a Speech Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques for varied age groups, with an in-depth understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Strong communication skills to foster connections with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues.

Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches to cater to different cultural and linguistic needs.

Solid clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and maintaining documentation standards.
