Overview Working at Easterseals Southern California is an opportunity to make profound and positive differences in people’s lives. Under direct supervision, you will provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports, providing discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). You will oversee all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs of your caseload, ensuring high quality and the use of best‑practice guidelines. Starting salary is $87,000 per year with a $7,500 hiring bonus available to all external candidates. Essential Functions Facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), conduct behavior assessments, and function as an Assessor when needed. Provide parent education, develop and deliver specific intervention activities, and serve as a liaison between the organization, families, community agencies, therapists, and health care providers. Conduct evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director. Meet productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget. Lead and/or attend staff meetings and prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials, including staff development training. Ensure associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are clearly defined and understood. Manage and evaluate the performance and productivity of associates in the assigned region. Provide training and onboarding for new associates; give ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists; and deliver specialized training to associates preparing for various certifications. Work with the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources in the recruitment and selection process of new program associates, and oversee associates involved in the recruitment/selection process as needed. Attend conferences and trainings to remain current regarding new research, trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields. Travel as required and perform other duties as assigned. Education Master’s degree in ABA or a related field and a current Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. CPR certification is also required. Experience 2–3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi‑disciplinary team setting. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches that benefit children with ASD, and familiarity with current related research findings. Expertise in intervention approaches based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations. Strong judgment and decision‑making skills. Demonstrated customer‑service orientation and professionalism in all interactions. Effective oral and written communication skills and teamwork abilities. Ability to relate well to children and their families and maintain a positive affect. Discretion, good judgment, and high confidentiality for handling sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Pass a post‑offer physical examination, TB test, and provide proof of required vaccinations or acceptable declination. Obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements. Physical Requirements Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motion/activities. Visual acuity, accommodating occasional exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions (noise, heat, dust, bodily fluids, etc.). Travel: up to 50% local travel required; maintain a clean driving record and legal auto insurance/registration.
