Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking a Marketing Administrative Assistant to support our marketing team in keeping everything organized, responsive, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and takes pride in doing things the right way - especially when it comes to communication and customer interaction.

The Role:

As a Marketing Administrative Assistant, you'll work closely with the VP of Marketing & Brand Development and support the broader Marketing Team across a wide range of administrative and customer-facing tasks.

This role plays a key part in managing day-to-day workflows, maintaining organization across projects, and ensuring timely, professional communication with our customers and communities.

From responding to online reviews to tracking events and supporting internal initiatives, your work will help keep the entire department moving forward.

Like any growing business, there are moments that call for quick pivots and team-wide support - so a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed is essential.

Responsibilities:

Customer & Community Communication:

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews with professionalism, accuracy, and brand-appropriate tone
  • Manage and respond to social media comments across platforms
  • Ensure all written communication reflects strong grammar, spelling, and attention to detail

Administrative & Organizational Support:

  • Process and track donation requests
  • Maintain and update event calendars and tracking documents
  • Audit and maintain accuracy of online listings

Team & Project Support:

  • Assist with team member merchandise sales, including processing and tracking orders
  • Support internal communications such as team member newsletters and anniversary shout-outs
  • Help monitor workflow across projects (including programs like custom soda initiatives)
  • Support the creation, assembly, and distribution of influencer boxes, rep boxes, and other branded marketing packages
  • Support the marketing team with a wide range of administrative tasks and ongoing projects

Events & On-the-Ground Support:

  • Assist with event planning, setup, and execution
  • Support in-house events and store-level initiatives as needed

Team Support & Flexibility:

  • Jump in to support time-sensitive projects, quick-turn requests, and the occasional "all hands on deck" moment
  • Contribute wherever needed to keep projects moving - no task too big or too small (from counting coupons to ordering supplies to helping with events)

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, marketing, or customer-facing role
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and professionalism
  • Comfortable interacting with customers online and representing the brand publicly
  • Highly organized with the ability to track multiple tasks and follow through
  • Strong attention to detail in both communication and administrative work
  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to jump in wherever needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Collaborative and supportive of the broader team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help across departments

This is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week) with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person. Monday to Friday hours, based in our Robinson Township, PA office location. Must be comfortable traveling to local store locations as needed.
