About The Role What if your curiosity, critical thinking, and love of getting to the truth could directly influence how AI communicates facts to millions of people? We're looking for Research Analysts to verify AI-generated information, dig into topics across every subject imaginable, and help ensure the AI systems shaping our world are built on a solid foundation of accuracy. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Research topics online to verify AI-generated claims, facts, and information Cross-reference AI outputs against authoritative and reliable sources Flag inaccuracies, outdated data, and unsupported claims with clear documentation Cover a broad range of subjects — from science, history, and culture to technology, current events, and beyond Provide structured, detailed feedback using provided evaluation tools Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule Who You Are Strong research skills — you know how to find credible sources and evaluate their reliability Naturally skeptical and thorough — you don't take claims at face value Detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to verifying information Clear and concise written communicator Self-motivated and reliable when working independently No prior AI, journalism, or academic research experience required Nice to Have Background in research, journalism, academia, library science, or communications Experience with source verification, data analysis, or investigative work Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas Familiarity with fact-checking methodologies or research databases Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Make a direct impact on the accuracy and trustworthiness of AI at scale Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch #J-18808-Ljbffr Alignerr
