This individual thrives in an environment that encourages teamwork and promotes inclusion by working with a variety of people./ppAs a Customer Consultant 1 you are responsible for:/pulliEmployee is required to attend work./liliEnsure company service standards are continually achieved in area of responsibility./liliProject a positive and highly professional image of the Bank by providing high quality customer service./liliRecognize and assume responsibility for contributing to the Banks strategic growth and service goals through excellent customer service, product knowledge and product referrals./liliStays current on policies and procedures to limit the number of times customers are transferred to another department and to perform transactions accurately./liliKeeps current on changes in technology and alternative delivery methods./liliAchieve established goals for the department./liliAnalyze the best product to meet the needs of the customer, explains, and offers the product to the customer./liliRespond to customer inquiries for information and help to resolve customer questions/issues in a courteous and timely manner./liliConduct installment and secured loan interviews. Completes phone application with caller. Process application on computer./liliAssist customers in their financial planning by making referrals to our business partners, including but not limited to our Investment, Insurance and Lending teams./liliMaintain a daily record of all customer contact, sales and other necessary data for report generation and follow-up./liliReceive, verify, and process through the PC customer transactions./liliRecognize and properly report all fraudulent, counterfeit, or suspicious activity by customers or employees to the security department./liliVerify specific customer information to ensure accurate processing and to prevent misuse or intentional fraud./liliBalance daily work./liliMaintain 20 customers per hour average volume while adhering to industry standards as it relates to specific goals./liliEnsure activities within assigned functional area of responsibility follow Bank policy, and State and Federal Regulations/li/ulpEducation and Qualifications:/pulliA High School diploma is required, along with additional college coursework or bank-related training./liliCandidates must have a minimum of 1 year of banking experience, plus at least 2 years of sales and customer service experienceor a comparable combination of education and experience.
