Our organization is currently seeking applications for a full-time gastroenterologist to join our clinical practice at MacNeal Hospital, a community-focused facility situated in Berwyn, IL.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate outstanding expertise in general gastroenterology, with a particular emphasis on treating prevalent upper and lower gastrointestinal disorders. While proficiency in interventional techniques such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology and hold a valid Illinois medical license upon appointment. The successful applicant will be appointed as an Assistant Professor and will become part of a thriving community practice that delivers both inpatient and outpatient services.
This role provides an excellent work-life balance, as it involves covering just one hospital and one clinic, supported by advanced practice providers. RECRUITMENT PACKAGEThe position comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
- Compensation determined by academic rank and experience

- Reimbursement for relocation expenses (in line with IRS regulations)
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) days and allowance
- Additional benefits from LUC or VA (if applicable)
