Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Psychiatry

Day Shift 7a - 7p

13-week contract with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in the state required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia training preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to patients within assigned units of the facility.
• Provide comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift.
• Communicate patient information effectively to ensure safe care through established reporting methods.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives and quality improvement measures to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with unit-specific competencies and requirements.

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. There is a possibility of shift cancellations during the contract period.
