As a Tax Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering tax and advisory services that help our clients make informed business decisions. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to identify tax-efficient strategies and ensure compliance, while continuing to grow your technical and leadership skills. Essential Functions: Go beyond compliance—proactively engage with clients to understand their business and provide tax planning recommendations. Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with increasing complexity. Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial and tax-related insights to clients. Research and analyze complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members. Collaborate with managers and partners on client engagements and contribute to strategic planning discussions. Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients. Other Functions: Use technology to streamline tax preparation and advisory services. Support the training and development of junior staff through coaching and knowledge sharing. Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. CPA or EA designation preferred or actively pursuing. 2–3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax. Familiarity with UltraTax, SurePrep, Accounting CS, and QuickBooks (online or desktop) is a plus.
