Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Integrative Emergency Services
North Texas Critical Care is a dedicated critical care intensivist team delivering quality care within the Cardiovascular and Surgical ICUs at Baylor University Medical Center and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. We provide post-operative care within high acuity units – treating patients recovering from heart/lung transplants, trauma, and cardiovascular surgeries.
Qualifications
- Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Graduate of accredited AGACNP/PA program
- Must have extensive ICU and trauma knowledge
- Critical Care, Cardiothoracic and/or Trauma experience (2+ years)
- Ability to work 13-hour day, night shifts, and 13 shifts per month plus weekends
- Ability to work autonomously within the Critical Care team
- Active Texas Medical License in good standing and DEA
- Experience in the management of critically ill surgical patients
- Experience with Cardiothoracic surgical patients is highly preferred
- Active ACLS and BLS
