Take pride in fabricating and repairing tools and fixtures to support production requirements of quality, cost, and efficiency. Responsibilities Craft precision tools by working with blueprints and drawings. Utilize all machine tools and related equipment, including a high proficiency in surface grinding. Work with tools and computer systems to verify dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of work pieces. Test completed tools or dies to ensure they meet specifications. Work with computer‑controlled or mechanically controlled machine tools to produce instruments and tools. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two years’ experience in producing tooling and fixtures for a manufacturing and / or assembly environment. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
