Certified Medical Assistant New Hope, MN Specialty: CMA Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $619 - $746 | Shift: 3x12 Rotating Are you a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in a dynamic clinical setting? Join our healthcare partner in New Hope, MN, where you'll play a crucial role in managing patient flow and supporting providers in delivering exceptional care. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. Your responsibilities will include both clinical and clerical tasks, allowing you to utilize your skills in a variety of ways. You will:
- Manage patient flow and assist providers in patient care
- Perform standard rooming processes, immunizations, and injections
- Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers
- Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
- Support front desk operations and check-in processes
- Order and stock medical supplies
- Perform x-ray duties if certified
- Conduct phlebotomy duties as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program
- Current BLS Certification
- Need 1 year experience in setting
