Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Active teaching credential in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience delivering specialized instruction and managing IEP processes
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and education professionals
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Provide direct instruction in accordance with IEP goals and curriculum standards
- Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Utilize data-driven strategies to assess student progress and adjust interventions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student achievements and challenges
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and program documentation
