Position: Adrienne Dillard-Coons (ADC) Drama School Programs Coordinator Department: Education & Engagement Reports to: ADC Youth Programs Manager, Director of Education & Engagement Classification: Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt Priority deadline: Applications close 9/20/26 Position starts: No later than 11/2/2026 Position Summary: The ADC Drama School Programs Coordinator supports the successful implementation of Seattle Children’s Theatre’s Adrienne Dillard-Coons (ADC) Drama School programming within the Education & Engagement Department. Working under the direction of the ADC Youth Programs Manager, this role coordinates the day-to-day logistics of classes, camps, and youth programs, serves as a key point of communication for Teaching Artist Faculty and families, and provides administrative and operational support to ensure programs run smoothly. The Coordinator supports program delivery through scheduling, documentation, systems management, and on-site support during active programming. This role also assists with data tracking, curriculum preparation, and program communications, helping to uphold a high-quality, inclusive, and welcoming experience for students, families, and faculty in alignment with SCT’s mission and values. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Program Operations and Coordination Coordinate day-to-day logistics for Adrienne Dillard-Coons (ADC) Drama School classes, camps, partnership camps, youth productions, and extended care in alignment with program plans developed by the ADC Youth Programs Manager. Coordinate operational logistics for partnership camp programs, including schedules, materials, on-site support, contracts, and invoicing, in collaboration with partner organizations and internal teams. Support the preparation or creation of schedules, class rosters, logistics documents, and materials needed to support successful program delivery. Provide on-site administrative and operational support during active programming days, including classes, camps, partnership camps, and special events, with travel to off-site locations as needed within the greater Seattle area. Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials, supplies, and shared program resources. Step in to provide instructional or classroom coverage on a limited, as-needed basis during emergent staffing situations to ensure program continuity. Faculty, Intern, and Program Communication Serve as a point of contact for Teaching Artist Faculty regarding schedules, program logistics, and day-to-day operational information. Support communication and coordination with interns, fellows, and apprentices in partnership with department leadership. Coordinate program-level communication with partner organizations for partnership camps, escalating questions or concerns to the ADC Youth Programs Manager as appropriate. Escalate programmatic, student, or faculty concerns to the ADC Youth Programs Manager as appropriate. Student Support and Program Experience Support student needs during active programming days, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and safe learning environment. Support extended care programming through coordination, communication, and on-site administrative assistance as assigned. Systems, Data, and Administrative Support Maintain accurate program information across schedules, Glance, Class Finder, and program catalogues. Assist with compiling program evaluations, participant feedback, and operational data to support reporting and program improvement. Support program setup and updates in internal systems in alignment with established launch timelines and procedures. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Work collaboratively with the Drama School Registrar, administrative staff, and other Education & Engagement team members to support coordinated program operations. Collaborate with Marketing to support program visibility, enrollment, and impact. Work collaboratively with Finance, Development, and Marketing teams to support departmental goals. Organizational Culture & Equity Attend required staff meetings and Education & Engagement departmental meetings. Represent Seattle Children’s Theatre professionally with students, families, faculty, and community partners. Actively participate in equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion initiatives, including trainings and departmental learning spaces. Adapt to evolving departmental needs by supporting additional tasks, projects, or programs as assigned. Qualifying Skills: We recognize that experience can come from many places. Required Skills: Relevant field experience in Theatre Education, Arts Administration, and/or Youth Program Management. 1 year of program assistance or coordination experience in arts education or youth programming with revenue-based educational programming. Experience working with youth in an education setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; comfort with databases/registration systems. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized and adaptable; able to engage in multiple detail-oriented projects in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion. Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Tessitura or similar data management systems. Experience with Asana or similar project management systems. Familiarity with youth development frameworks and best practices. Experience in teaching curriculum for ages 3.5–18 with an inclusive, culturally responsive approach. Experience collaborating with marketing and development teams to support program visibility and revenue growth. Knowledge of Seattle’s arts education ecosystem and existing relationships with local community partners. Multilingual abilities. CPR/First Aid certification. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: SCT will make reasonable accommodations to ensure accessibility for all employees. Location: This position is based at 201 Thomas St, Seattle, WA, in a typical office setting. The site is accessible via public transportation. After a successful 90-day introductory period, this position becomes eligible for one regularly scheduled remote workday per week during the school year. Remote work approval is subject to the needs of the business and must be coordinated in advance with the employee’s supervisor. Schedule: This is a full-time, hourly position, typically 40 hours per week. During the school year, the schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, generally 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. In the summer, the schedule shifts to Monday through Friday, generally 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. All schedule times are adjustable based on a scaffolded staff schedule determined by programming needs. Note that most holidays are often active programming days. When school is out session, programming is hosted and this role is required to support programs. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support fundraising events and Opening Nights. Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance may be discussed as needed. Tasks May Include: Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods. Using computers, phones, and office equipment. Moving materials and supplies up to 30 lbs. Traveling around Seattle and surrounding areas Navigating office space for meetings and collaboration.
