Forklift Operator

Position Title: Forklift Operator Wage: $20.35 - $21.57/hour Shift: 12 Hour Days or Nights Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm or 6:00pm - 6:00am (2-2-3 Schedule) QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Forklift Operator at a company in Madison, WI. This is a potential to hire position. Forklift Operator Responsibilities: Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound Meet department goals for efficiency Participate in continuous improvement efforts Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received and shipped to quality standards Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems Complete shift documentation/paperwork Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Requirements for Forklift Operator: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) Ability to lift 11-30 lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) Ability to lift 31-50 lbs occasionally (1-2 lbs per shift) Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time Ability to work in warm environments At least three years of forklift experience Mechanical aptitude Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements Basic math skills Computer and software skills We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
