• Shift: Flexible; primarily day shifts
• Hours/Week: Up to 45 hours/week (average depending on site)
• Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
• License/Certs: Active NC License, NC DEA, Board Certification (NP or PA), BLS
• Experience: Minimum of 12 months in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine; no new grads

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application)

What You ll Do:

• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months+)
• Conduct minor procedures such as lac repairs and ear irrigations
• Manage high-volume patient flow independently
• Document all visits accurately using Epic EMR
• Ensure quality patient care with soft skills and professionalism
• Collaborate with support staff in a team environment
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing and licensing requirements

What You Need:

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Active NC DEA registration
• Board certification (NP or PA)
• Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• Good soft skills, adaptability, and ability to handle high patient volumes
• Ability to participate in mandatory training sessions on set Wednesdays
