Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently? Join our team at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont, Maine, where your work plays a vital role in keeping our operation moving.

We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated mechanic to maintain and repair a wide variety of trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, loaders, and sawmill support equipment.

Responsibilities

•Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and drivetrains.

•Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks, loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

•Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.

•Maintain accurate maintenance records.

•Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

•Work safely while following all company safety procedures.

•Assist with fabrication and other mechanical projects as needed.

Qualifications

•Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.

•Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.

•Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

•Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.

•Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

•Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus but not required.
