Job Description

Open roles are available for both Life Skills Teachers and Structured Teach (Autism Support) Teachers. Life Skills Teachers will work with students requiring moderate interventions, while Structured Teach Teachers will specialize in autism support and require a mild intervention certification. Each position centers on developing individualized educational plans, collaborating with related service providers, and maintaining a nurturing, structured classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Certified Special Education Teacher with a valid state credential
Moderate Intervention certification required (Life Skills)
Mild Intervention certification required (Structured Teach)
Experience with caseloads of approximately 10–15 students preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Passion for providing inclusive and adaptive instruction

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
Collaborate with instructional teams, therapists, and families for student success
Adapt curriculum to support a range of learning styles and abilities
Maintain accurate student records and documentation
Create a safe and structured classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
