Trainer

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Didactic Instructor for an radiography program. The program prepares students for competent, compassionate practice as radiologic technologists through a blend of online coursework, face-to-face labs, and clinical rotations. Working under the Program Director, you will teach foundational courses that prepare students for laboratory and clinical competency. You will be responsible for designing and delivering course content aligned with JRCERT Standards and ARRT specifications, evaluating learning, and contributing to the program's continuous quality improvement and accreditation efforts. Key Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and deliver engaging didactic instruction covering radiographic science, including positioning/procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care. Assessment: Design objective, equitable assessments to evaluate learning based on competency-based education principles. Mentorship: Advise and support students, proactively identifying and addressing academic challenges. Quality Improvement: Analyze course outcomes data to drive instructional improvements and ensure curriculum currency. Compliance: Ensure all instructional materials and assessments align with JRCERT Standards, ARRT content specifications, and current professional practices. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field (or equivalent experience/training). Licensure & Certification: Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography - R(R). Current state Radiologic Technologist license. Knowledge & Skills: understanding of adult-learning theory, instructional design, and assessment creation. Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), educational technology platforms, and standard office software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for classroom instruction and interaction.
