Job details Salary $22 - $28 per hour A Bit About Us We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing financial insights and accounting solutions to our clients. Why join us? This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Job Details Responsibilities Provide accounting and financial consulting services to clients in the manufacturing industry. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting. Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and reports, perform account reconciliations, and conduct internal audits. Analyze financial data to identify our company's financial status and performance. Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls. Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, QuickBooks, and Cost Accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. CPA or CMA certification will be considered an advantage. Interested in hearing more?
