RN Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Supplemental Program - Highland Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Highland Hospital.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele. 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele.

Special Requests: Current or previous employees must have taken 12 months off from any University of Rochester Medical Center affiliate. Block scheduling can be requested but is not a guaranteed approval.

Unit Details: Medical/Surgical, colorectal, and bariatrics unit.

Shift & Scheduling: 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility’s schedule.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
