Job Duties: Restaurant Managers will be responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with government agencies regarding sanitation and handling of food and beverage products including keeping all accurate records required, investigating, resolving, and improving processes and Standards of Practice (SOP) in the case of any complaints regarding food quality or service, actively conducting food and equipment's inventories, and keeping detailed inventory records in craftable and manual spreadsheets, monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner, purchasing, scheduling, and receiving food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity, conducting meetings and supervisory activities (i.e. creating work schedules), hiring and interviewing, observing and evaluating workers and work procedures to ensure quality standard sand service, and collaborating with other Restaurant personnel for menu planning, serving arrangements, event planning and related details, opening and/or closing of the entire restaurant including checking opening and/or closing side works, uniform checks, writing opening and closing reports, and documenting any violations of company SOP execute all positions in the front-of-the-house during service including maître d', captain of station, all bar positions, expo and ability to take reservations where needed. Employer is offering at least 40 hours per week at a rate of $38.89/hr; 10:00 am - 11:59 PM. Tues - Sun. Days/Shifts will vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings are required as needed. Employer is offering opportunity for up to 15 hours of overtime per week, however this is not guaranteed. Overtime will be paid at a rate of $58.34/hr for working greater than 40 hours in any given week. Employer reserves the right to increase wage, rate, or bonus to any worker based on skill, tenure, performance, or experience. Must comply with the company uniform and grooming policy. This position will supervise up to 25 other employees depending on staffing. Job Requirements: No education, or training required. Applicant must complete preemployment background check and drug screening at the employer's expense. Workers must be at least 18 years of age. The Petitioner will consider for employment any applicant who possesses at least twelve (12) months of experience in a fine-dining environment at a high-end or high volume restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant will also be required to complete paid on the job training and testing as well as following the Butcher Private detailed steps of service. Please note that while materials are available online for training, reviewing these training materials is not mandatory outside of work hours as on-the-job training is provided. A series of sixteen (16) extensive practical and written tests taken in English, will be testing product and service knowledge as well as speed of service. These tests are available to take over the duration of your employment. Workers are required to speak conversational English. Transportation: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Transportation to and from optional employer housing to worksite is provided at no cost to the workers. Housing: Employer housing is not provided. Tools, supplies and equipment: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Other Employment Guarantees: A single workweek will be used for computing wages due and workers will be paid biweekly. Employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law unless optional benefits are elected by worker. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for workers sole benefit, including medical, dental, and vision. If voluntarily elected by worker, costs/contributions will be deducted from paycheck.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government(excluding passport fees), incurred by the H-2B worker. It is important that you project a conservative, business image in both behavior and dress. I n general, you must be neat, clean, and well-groomed in your appearance and dress code standards. To assist you in projecting your best image, we have set the following grooming standards to be maintained by all team members. When employees are on Company premises for any reason, conservative smart casual or business attire is required , same as we would expect from a guest. Immodest or revealing attire is inconsistent with the Company conservative standards and is never acceptable, including arriving to work, leaving work, and dining at the restaurant during days off. Uniforms should be kept clean, perfectly ironed, pressed, buttoned, and neat always when worn. If an employee is wearing a company provided uniform jacket coming and going to work, it must be worn buttoned up and in the same manner as during the workday. You are expected to wear and handle your uniform with care, so it remains well maintained during your workday. In the case you are scheduled for a longer shift, we always suggest bringing in your second uniform as back up in the event one is stained or damaged. In case you are scheduled for an additional project, you may wear a white plain crew neck t-shirt (no v necks) and black pants outside of service hours. White plain crew neck T- Shirt (no v necks) must be always tucked in. All associates are to provide their own full length black pressed pants - no jeans, shorts, or sports pants. Pants with a professional crease are preferred. Jacket must always remain in the office or on your person during work hours . It must not be placed loosely in the Restaurant or other location.
