MANAGEMENT AREA RANGER II

Management Area Ranger II An employee in this classification promotes the safe and orderly enjoyment of DEM's Management Areas, which host a variety of activities including fishing, hiking, biking, birding, boating access gate management, swimming, and picnicking. Candidates will report to one of several divisions including the Division of Fish & Wildlife, Division of Marine Fisheries, or Division of Forest Environment. This position is responsible for monitoring facilities, reporting maintenance problems and equipment failures, collecting litter from the areas, and performs a variety of light maintenance tasks. Employees must be able to communicate effectively with patrons in a polite and tactful manner in order to provide information and assistance and to insure adherence to management area rules and regulations. $42.75 - $54.19 per hour
