Are you interested in starting a rewarding career in healthcare? We are currently accepting applications for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Trainees to join our team at our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.

This is a PAID CNA training program designed to help individuals begin their careers in nursing. Selected candidates will participate in classroom instruction and hands-on training to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant certification exam.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:

We are currently hiring for NIGHT SHIFT ONLY (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) upon completion of the CNA training program and successful certification.

Applicants must be willing and available to work the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift once they complete training and transition into their CNA position. Training class hours may differ from the regular night shift schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No CNA certification required to apply
• Must be willing to complete the required CNA training program and successfully pass the certification exam
• Must be available to work NIGHT SHIFT (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) upon successful completion of training and certification
• Must successfully complete required background check and drug screening
• Must meet applicable pre-employment health screening requirements
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing the training program
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from nursing staff
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward elderly residents
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with providing direct resident care

Essential Job Responsibilities

Upon completion of the training program and successful certification, responsibilities will include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility, according to individual care plans.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and attentive care while promoting resident dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in their condition, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse.
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
• Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation of care and services provided.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Follow established infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Perform additional resident care duties as assigned within the scope of CNA responsibilities.

Work Schedule – PLEASE NOTE

Available Position: NIGHT SHIFT ONLY

7:00 PM–7:00 AM

• CNA training program hours may vary.
• Upon successful completion of training and certification, employees will transition into the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift position .
• We are NOT currently hiring for day shift CNA positions through this training program.
• Applicants must be committed to working the available night shift schedule before applying.
