Job Description

One of the premier Podiatry clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant who will perform patient care and assist clerical and clinical staff. If this is your time to make a difference in your community, submit your resume and see what opportunities are available today!

Responsibilities:

• Escorted patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history and measures vital signs.
• Educated and may give directions to patient regarding medication and treatment plan as instructed by physician or physician assistant 
• Maintained patient charts ensuring all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patient records. 
• Call in prescription refills. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1 year or more of Medical Assistant experience within a clinic/physician office setting.
• Have obtained Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program. 
• Experience in a specialty clinic is a strong plus
• Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
