Job Description

We are seeking a Production Control professional to ensure successful execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by coordinating material availability, monitoring production flow, and resolving production constraints. This hands-on role supports daily and weekly manufacturing activities, works closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams, and helps drive on-time delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The position combines production coordination with product assembly responsibilities in a clean, climate-controlled aviation manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment with the ability to execute and monitor production activities against a Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Experience managing work-in-progress (WIP), material movements, and inventory transactions to support continuous production flow.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, including SAP , for accurate production reporting, inventory management, and material tracking.
• Strong ability to coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
• Ability to monitor production flow, identify bottlenecks, escalate risks, and support recovery plans to maintain schedule performance and on-time delivery.
• Experience participating in Tier, QRQC, or similar production meetings to communicate status, priorities, and operational risks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of delays and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on mechanical and assembly experience with the ability to spend approximately 50% of the time supporting product manufacturing on the production floor.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in both physical production work and system transactions.
• Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School or GED
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, etc.) and Excel.
• Understanding scheduling, inventory, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience in production within the aviation or aerospace industry is highly beneficial.
• Experience working in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and problem-solving methodologies.
• Comfort working in a fast-growing company where processes and systems may evolve.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey status, risks, and issues to cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled, clean production facility, providing a comfortable and organized work setting. You will spend a significant portion of your time on the production floor, working hands-on with products and materials while also performing system transactions and coordination activities. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and precision, with structured production processes and regular team meetings to review performance, risks, and improvements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
