Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for students, evaluating their strengths, challenges, and needs to create a comprehensive intake profile that guides therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address individual client needs effectively.

• Design and implement tailored psychological interventions aimed at helping clients reach their personal and academic goals.

• Facilitate individual and family counseling sessions, providing insight and strategies for coping with emotional or behavioral issues.

• Offer vocational and experiential counseling to support students' personal development and readiness for future opportunities.

• Engage with community resources, ensuring coordinated care that aligns with the clients' needs and circumstances, and actively collaborate with educational staff.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, documenting interventions and outcomes to ensure consistent care.

• Maintain readiness to offer telephonic support to clients and their families during off-hours if necessary.

• Foster ongoing communication with the treatment team, offering valuable insights into patient progress and collaborative care strategies.

• Stay current with licensing requirements and engage in continuing education initiatives to enhance clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students and their families within the school setting. Qualifications\n
