Associate Scientist

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Scientist to support cell therapy process development in Seattle. The role involves designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and optimizing manufacturing unit operations for CAR-T cell therapies within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute scale-down and full-scale cell therapy process development experiments
• Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and present findings to stakeholders
• Maintain detailed documentation and timely Electronic Laboratory Notebook entries
• Author experimental protocols and development reports
• Troubleshoot operational problems and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in cell biology, bioengineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of industry experience in relevant area
• Demonstrated independence in experimental design, execution, and data analysis
• Statistical analysis experience; JMP proficiency preferred
• Scientific writing and documentation skills
• Mammalian or primary cell culture laboratory experience
• Process development, cell therapy manufacturing, or characterization experience highly desirable

Compensation: $88,430–$107,151 base
