The Opportunity Job Title: Seasonal Sports Coach Department: Athletics Position Status: Seasonal/Temporary Part‑Time FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Athletics Travel Requirements: Travel to game locations as necessary Date Updated: October 1, 2020 Position Summary Presbyterian Seasonal Sports Coach to teach an assigned team sport. The Seasonal Sports Coach must love to coach middle school students and be encouraged to discuss with leadership opportunities for professional and social involvement with school and student activities. \ Duties and Responsibilities Coach assigned middle school team sport, including practices and games. Provide first aid assistance to students and report illnesses/injury to the school nurse or athletic trainer. Communicate effectively and timely with families regarding sports activities and other relevant information. Perform various other duties as assigned by leadership. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work effectively with others. Ability to work independently. Professional demeanor with staff, general public, and school personnel. Effective prioritization and time management skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
