Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention for patients with a wide range of urgent health conditions. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for both adult and pediatric patients experiencing trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and other emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, utilizing advanced clinical judgment.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency treatments including medication, IV therapy, and stabilization procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and responses continuously, adjusting care plans as needed.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, observations, and patient progress in Meditech.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Texas RN license; valid license required, temporary licenses not accepted.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience in a high-acuity environment.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in emergency procedures including stroke management, STEMI, trauma, and pediatric care.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
