Dispatcher - 1st Shift

Dash Courier & Logistics is seeking a dependable and motivated dispatcher to join our operations team. In this role, you'll coordinate deliveries, support drivers and customers, and help ensure the smooth flow of daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and schedule courier deliveries
• Receive, enter, and manage orders through phone, email, and internal systems
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure excellent service
• Monitor deliveries and assist with issue resolution when needed
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and operational documentation
• Support day-to-day dispatch and customer service activities
• Assist with operational needs and special projects as required

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, or a related field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with routing, maps, and geographic areas
• Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Acceptable criminal background and motor vehicle record

Schedule

This position is primarily a 1st shift role, with typical hours of 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Occasional flexibility may be needed to support business demands, including overtime, weekend, or holiday coverage when necessary. Our team works together to ensure operational success while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Education & Experience

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1 year of dispatching experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
