It's designed to provide minimally invasive surgical procedures with the highest level of quality care and patient satisfaction. We are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology that can offer a wide range of services including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, urology, and gynecology.Our teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical personnel are committed to providing the highest quality patient care in a safe and comfortable environment. The center also offers pre-surgical testing, post-operative care, and education to ensure a smooth transition back to normal activities.**About the Job:**Function under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties in assigned area of surgical services.**What You’ll Do:*** Ensure the availability and preparedness of supplies and equipment needed to support efficient and effective perioperative processes. Gather supplies and instruments needed for patient procedures.* Maintain anesthesia machine and cart by checking for all necessary equipment and supplies prior to start of case, cleaning after each case and restocking according to established par levels.* Uphold an environment which consistently meets all safety, infection control and quality standards.* Support Anesthesia and Operating Room personnel to ensure the cleanliness of equipment and support patient safety.* Function as an integral member of the Operating Room team and contribute to maintaining a professional, respectful, and effective patient care and work environment.* Promote continuity in surgery turnover time.* Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient operating room suite.* Transport specimens, equipment, and supplies between a variety of departments and patient care areas as needed.* Ensure a professional, respectful, and effective patient care and working environment through consistent use of appropriate interpersonal and communication skills.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Who You Are:*** One year of experience in a hospital operating room or Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.* Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required, unless other current NH state license is held.
