Lead Accountant, Technical Franchise Revenue Hybrid - Atlanta Support Center May 19, 2026 Pay information not provided This position will assist in ensuring franchise revenue transactions are recorded and reported in accordance with US GAAP and company policy. This position may assist staff accountants in their accounting processes and will contribute to the achievement of the Company’s timely and accurate financial reporting with a focus on process improvements and automation. The successful candidate will be action-oriented with a blend of both technical and operational accounting experience and will seek to build strong relationships with and deliver superior service to key stakeholders. This position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time. Responsibilities Operate under revenue recognition policies and established procedures in alignment with GAAP, including adherence to accounting standards, specifically ASC 606. Account for end-to-end global processes for revenues and deferred revenues, including elimination of intercompany transactions. Prepare and record accounting entries and reconciliations for revenue accounting transactions. Provide information for the quarterly and annual revenue financial statement disclosures. Responsible for financial close activities including completion of analytics and internal controls. Prepare support for audits and associated operational activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Respond to requests for information from senior management, FP&A, Tax, IA, Legal, and other functional areas of the business. Help foster an environment of continuous improvement within and among other departments concerning the accuracy of all franchise revenue transactions entered into the general ledger. Liaise with the Legal, FP&A, Franchise Services and Operations teams to understand contracts and help ensure proper revenue recognition treatment. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for revenue-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Perform ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned. Collaborate with and support other accounting teams as business needs evolve. Education and Experience Qualifications 4 Year Degree in Accounting or related field. Certified Public Accountant or CPA candidate preferred. 1-3 years accounting experience. Prior accounting experience with ERP financial systems. Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Ability to work collaboratively or independently and produce accurate results, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company environment where adaptability is imperative. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. A desire to work with and communicate with management with a high level of personal confidence and professionalism. Command of accounting principles and procedures necessary for maintaining proper company books and records to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with US GAAP. Advanced in Microsoft EXCEL, word processing, and advanced applications knowledge in a Windows PC environment. Experience with Oracle or other major ERP systems preferred.
