Senior e-Commerce Marketing Associate

The Marketing team is responsible for bringing to life the Xebec brand vision and driving revenue. Each of us has the ability to impact many areas of the marketing landscape. We are looking for a quick learner and don't expect you to be experienced in every area we outline below.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for growing, engaging, and monetizing our owned audiences. The primary responsibilities for this role include ad creative development and optimization, owning email marketing, content creation, and community management. Analytics is a key element of this role, ensuring what we’re doing as a team is working - and pivoting when it’s not. You will also support smaller marketing projects as needed, including in-person events and photo/video shoots, as priorities ebb and flow based on the season and around new product launches.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Creative Development and Optimization: Drive strategy and testing cadence across all channels, with a particular focus on Facebook ad creative Email Marketing: Drive campaign and flow strategy, creating and sending regular emails to maximize revenue Social Media Channels: Plan and manage in-house content creation for organic and paid social channels with an analytics-driven strategy Content Creation: Own creative asset coordination with content creators and Xebec photo shoots, with support from Head of Marketing Community Management: Monitor and moderate comments and direct messages on social media platforms, responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner Misc. Marketing Project Support: Support additional marketing team efforts as needed, including ad hoc PR coordination and event support, including launch parties and our annual SXSW event

WHO YOU ARE:

A team player who enjoys the startup environment and loves wearing different hats Based in Austin, TX 1-4 years of relevant experience Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic work environment and adapt to changes Organized Excellent written and interpersonal skills Comfortable being on camera Bonus points: Comfortable generating disruptive ideas E-commerce experience Likes being both creative and analytical
