Title: IT Support Technician

Location: Remote US

Duration: 4 months

Compensation: $19/hr

Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide remote technical support for end users and technology systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues while delivering timely and effective support through phone and chat.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, POS systems, thermal printers, department scales, barcode scanners, handheld devices, and thin clients.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, and network connectivity issues.
• Log, track, and document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.
• Deliver excellent customer service and minimize disruptions to business operations.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk roles. Experience troubleshooting operating systems, hardware, software, and connectivity issues with a basic understanding of networking concepts and peripheral devices.
• Experience supporting customers through a ticketing system. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. make this make sense

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or other relevant IT certifications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user account management.
