Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and family members to educate them about treatment goals and the use of assistive devices.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and collaborative learning opportunities to remain current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes to ensure a unified approach across the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic illness. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and possess basic computer skills for documentation and patient communication.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the varying needs of patients throughout the day.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
