Job Summary

We are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join our team as a B2B-SMB Outside Sales Representative . As part of our field sales development team, you will recognize, prospect, and cultivate potential SMB (small and medium-sized business) sales leads, travel to meet directly with business owners and executive decision-makers face-to-face, and endeavor to transform initial sales conversations into lasting, high-value client relationships. Operating within your assigned local territory, you will promote WeLink's next-generation wireless fiber-like internet solutions as a superior, cost-effective alternative to traditional cable and telecom providers. You will leverage your expertise in direct sales, door-to-door prospecting, territory management, and consultative selling to demonstrate how WeLink's telecom technology optimizes business connectivity and improves their bottom line.

Outside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Territory & Field Prospecting: Travel daily within your designated sales territory to initiate cold visits, build boots-on-the-ground lead pipelines, and meet face-to-face with SMB decision-makers.

• Consultative Product Presentation: Maintain comprehensive, expert-level knowledge of WeLink's high-speed internet products, telecom infrastructure, and cloud connectivity services to effectively differentiate our solutions from incumbent providers.

• Pipeline & CRM Management: Rigorously manage, track, and update all sales leads, account activities, funnel stages, and closed deals within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.

• Consultative Deal Closing: Conduct professional needs assessments, overcome client objections, present tailored business proposals, and utilize proven closing strategies to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.

• Relationship Building & Post-Sale Support: Coordinate with sales leadership and operational installation teams to ensure seamless onboarding, maintaining ongoing client touchpoints to realize cross-selling and referral opportunities.

Outside Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications

• Sales & Industry Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, field sales, outside sales, business development, telecommunications, account management, or technology sales (prior experience selling SMB or MDU telecom solutions is a major plus).

• Self-Motivated & Entrepreneurial: A strong self-starting personality with an entrepreneurial spirit, high competitiveness, and the discipline to manage your own territory and schedule without constant supervision.

• Communication & Negotiation: Articulate, polished, and persuasive communication skills with a proven ability to establish instant credibility with executives and business owners.

• Sales Methodology & Tools: Deep understanding of full-cycle sales techniques, lead generation, sales funnel management, and proficiency with standard CRM software.

• Mobility Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation to navigate your daily field territory. High school diploma or equivalent required.
