Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Level 2 Special Care Nursery!

Job Description:


- Passionate about patient care? As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients and supporting physicians with top-notch care.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on each patient's unique needs.
- Identify patient needs and prioritize care through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate personalized care plans for assigned patients via initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions with skill and compassion.
- Manage the care of patients with precision and dedication to their well-being.
- Document care per standards of practice, ensuring it reflects patient acuity and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and support forward-thinking innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care that aligns with professional nursing practice models.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Schedule:
- Shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Work: 3x12s, every other weekend as needed
- No On-Call Requirements
- No Floating, with the exception of assisting with babies on Postpartum

- Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in Mother Baby care, with expertise in newborn care.
- Skills:
- Competence in managing higher acuity infants (32 weeks and above).
- Proficiency in stabilizing infants less than 32 weeks.
- Education:
- Required: ASN
- Preferred: BSN
- Certifications & Licensure:
- Required: BLS (AHA), NRP, NJ State Professional RN license or multi-state compact license

- Languages:
- English: Read, Write, Speak
