Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location Beaver Dam, WI | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 18:30–07:00 | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry, as part of routine patient assessment
Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
Participate in weekend rotation and every-other-holiday scheduling as required
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in alignment with departmental standards and protocols
Required Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
Must pass a Telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher; up to three attempts permitted under specified conditions)
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Travel pairs are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience identifying and responding to lethal cardiac rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
Familiarity with 3rd degree heart block recognition and management
Experience working in high-volume, multi-acuity emergency department environments
