SHIPPING ASSOCIATE
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and package materials for shipment following work instructions and customer specifications
- Read shipping orders and verify materials before packaging
- Build wooden crates and select appropriate packaging materials for safe transport
- Operate saws and other packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Load trucks and assist with outgoing shipments
- Complete shipping paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Enter shipping information into the ERP/computer system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or packaging experience is a plus
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Forklift experience is a plus
