Cost Accountant

A national manufacturing company in the northwest Milwaukee suburbs is looking to add a new Cost Accountant to their team. This position is newly created due to company growth, so it would be an exciting role to make your own! This position will also get to take advantage of a hybrid schedule! Job Duties: Partner with Accounting Manager on month/year end close procedures Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs. Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances Assist with forecasting and budgeting for division Maintain fixed asset registers Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory Provide support for other accounting functions when needed Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field At least 2 years of relevant (cost accounting) experience Ability to work independently Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis If this particular role is not of interest, our team is engaged in over 40 separate searches in the area.
