About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Clarkston Washington. This role supports the Sterile Processing and Supply department and is responsible for cleaning assembling sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments and procedural trays.

Responsibilities

• Clean assemble and sterilize surgical instruments and procedural trays.

• Operate sterile processing equipment including washers and autoclaves.

• Inspect instruments to ensure they are in proper working condition.

• Document missing instruments according to standard procedures.

• Record sterilizer test results and maintain accurate load records.

• Operate and maintain steam autoclaves and related equipment.

• Communicate effectively with operating room personnel and department staff.

• Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards.

• Support department workflow and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active CRCST certification required.

• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required.

• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and power equipment required.

• Experience with sterile processing equipment required.

• Meditech experience preferred.

• Schedule flexibility required.

• Holiday coverage may be required.

• Strong communication and attention to detail required.
